Question #1: How SKYNEX™ is Affected by the 2019 Novel Coronavirus ("COVID-19") Outbreak?
Answer: Many suppliers and factories on which SKYNEX™ relies upon to conduct its daily business and affairs continue to operate around the world, many of whom have adopted and implemented stringent measures to their daily activities to promote health and workers' well-being. All of SKYNEX's daily business operations are conducted online. SKYNEX™ does not have any manufacturers or suppliers in Wuhan, Hubei Province, Chine. For the duration of the emergency measures in place in various jurisdictions around the world, all orders placed with overseas manufacturers and suppliers will transit through SKYNEX™ office in Toronto (Ontario, Canada) for complete, thorough sanitization of all items being sent to SKYNEX™ customers. Throughout the duration of Covid-19, and until further notice, customers should expect some delays (3-5 days) in the delivery of their orders.
Question #2: Will Shipment of Your Order Be Delayer by COVID-19?
Answer: While many SKYNEX™ suppliers, manufacturers, logistics and transportation providers (UPS, FedEx, Canada Post, etc.), and other third party services upon which SKYNEX relies upon for conducting its daily business and affairs, these same businesses have also implemented and incorporated health and safety-based measures that may cause slight delays (3 to 5 business days). Until further notice, SKYNEX™ will sanitize all orders prior to shipping/relaying them to the end customers, a new measure that may also cause slightly longer-than-usual delivery times.
For the most current and up-to-date information about the effect of Covid-19 of mail deliveries, contact your local port and/or shipping companies. Shipping information about customer orders will continue to be provided by SKYNEX™ and relevant third party logistics/transportation companies.
Question #3: Should i be Concerned About the Risk of Contracting the Novel Coronavirus (COVD-19) From a Package or Products Shipping From China?
Answer: We refer all our customers to the Centre for Disease and Prevention ("CDC") FAQs about "...imported products". The CDC states, verbatim, the following:
CDC does not have any evidence to suggest that imported animals or animal products pose a risk for spreading COVID-19 in the United States. This is a rapidly evolving situation and information will be updated as it becomes available. The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the U. S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), and the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (FWS) play distinct but complementary roles in regulating the importation of live animals and animal products into the United States. CDC regulates animals and animal products that pose a threat to human health, USDA regulatesexternal icon animals and animal products that pose a threat to agriculture; and FWS regulatesexternal icon importation of endangered species and wildlife that can harm the health and welfare of humans, the interests of agriculture, horticulture, or forestry, and the welfare and survival of wildlife resources.
